How to Read Someone's Mind With Math (Math Trick)

Method 1 of 3: Getting the Answer to be 3

   Have your friend pick a number between 1 and 10.

   Tell them to multiply this number by 2.

   Ask them to multiply the new number by 5.

   Have them to divide their current number by their original number. (ex: in the 1st step if they pick 3, they should divide their current number, 30, by 3)

   Tell them to subtract 7 from their number.

   "Guess" the answer. If you do this right, the answer will always be 3!

Method 2 of 3: Making it Trickier

   Have your friend pick any number between 1 and 10.

   Choose a number (use an even number because it's easier). Ask your friend to add this number to the one in their head.

   "Guess" the answer. If you do this right, the answer should be half the number you gave them to add in step 3.

Method 3 of 3: Getting the Answer to be 13
